Rafting in Bhagirathi

Duration 5days
Grade III & IV
Minimum no. of Pax: 08

An excellent option for adventure seeker down the Ganga and Bhagirathi rivers, the latter being one of the main tributaries of the Ganga river. We drive past the dam at Tehri to reach our put-in 18kms below the Tehri dam downstream of the Piandas dam. The pleasure of traveling down a remote part of this river makes it a very exciting trip, besides the whitewater which will leave you wanting more. We raft down lower Bhagirathi gorge (mostly Grades 3 and 4) with rapids like "Elephant Rock", "The Chute", "Sharp S", "Confluence Rapids" and many more, till its confluence with the Alaknada at devprayag to form the Ganga. A must-do if you are looking for a great river run in Asia.
